School District No. 100 contracts with a private corporation for bus services.
Belvidere is served by two local newspapers. The Belvidere Republican is published afternoons Monday, Wednesday and Friday and The Boone County Journal is a free weekly newspaper. In addition, the Boone County Shopper, a free, all advertising/classified paper is also published weekly on Thursdays.
